Every now and then we like to do something different. Something that most firms would not even dream of attempting. With our self-proclaimed interest in streamline design as shown in our Flash Gordon Rocket Ships and our passion for the GM Futurliner, we decided it was time to do a streamlined locomotive. Though we did have numerous designs to choose from that era, choosing the Hiawatha was not a difficult decision. In time, it is our hopes that we will also offer the passenger cars to this locomotive/tender offer since these passenger cars are as compelling as the locomotive itself. Streamlined/Deco at its very best! In keeping with our interest in vintage toys, our Hiawatha is scaled so that it can run on Buddy L track and our couplers will work with current Buddy L cars and couplers so that you can make an entire train set with them until we create the matching passenger cars. Each version of this model is strictly limited to an issue of 100 serial numbered units.
