This is something I have personally wanted to do for quite some time. Our double-pup model is actually a set of 3 different versions of the same model so that you can choose for yourself which one you like best. We hope you actually like all 3 but that is wishful thinking on our part. At 1:8 scale, these double-pups have a total length of 54” however, the “pony” connector is removable and both tankers have working landing gear so they can be displayed separately if shelf space is an issue. Besides incredibly elaborate paint schemes, each set includes 24 metal fuel cans to be placed in the 4 hinged shelves running along the lengths of both tankers. Additionally, the rear of both tankers has hinged compartments with the tanker’s plumbing inside. Each version of this model is strictly limited to an issue of 75 serial numbered units.
