With the success of our Speedway Special Midget with its V8-60 flat-head engine which sold out over 4 years ago, we were inspired to create a sister model with an Offenhauser engine. Besides the obvious engine and exhaust changes, we also narrowed the nose grill and eliminated the rollover bar on the rear-end. Additionally, the black and white paint scheme highlighted with red accents adds a visual vibrancy to this 20” long all-metal model. Like the Speedway Special, we are also offering a custom display trailer for the Checkerflag Offy that has also been redesigned. This trailer has tongue mounted fuel cans, overhead tire storage and black painted diamond plate flooring and roll-out ramps. This model is limited to an edition of 275 serial numbered units.
